You reach it from the airport via the highway AP 7. This highway bypasses Marbella and has an access road to the centre of town via the exit (salida) “Marbella centro”.

Especially attractive is the old town (“Casco Antiguo”): Charming small side streets with shops, cafés, bars and restaurants invite to stroll. Amidst orange trees are outdoor cafés at the “Plaza de los Naranjos”, the orange garden. Passing through downtown by carriage is also an unforgetable experience.

When leaving the centre on the famous “Golden Mile” (where our office is located, too) in a westward direction, passing the renowned Hotels Marbella Club and Puente Romano one finally reaches the world-famous yacht harbour “Puerto Banús” which is a must amongst the attractions to visit!

The town itself officially has approx. 120.000 residents. There is, however, no obligation for Spaniards nor for EC-members to register, so that in fact this number is considerably higher. Nevertheless, the sensation of crowds does not arise as the community extends over an area of approx. 30 km. There are the so-called „urbanizations“ , which include hundreds of basic and luxury residential complexes, apartments, townhouses in Mediterranean style and very well-kept and secure areas with villas, residences of all categories.

Marbella is especially known and popular for its clean and well-kept streets, bordered by beautiful gardens and parks. Security and order are very important factors in Marbella and last but not least the town convinces through its International flair, alive by a public with the highest standards.
